A living skin of motion and light. The kinetic façade responds to its environment with ever-shifting patterns. Activated by wind, the surface becomes a choreography of reflection and shadow. This makes it an imprint of the surrounding environment. The study represents a small section of a larger planned façade transformation of the Geomatikum in Hamburg. A landmark with iconic visibility, recognizable from across the city. In its final form, the building will serve as a dynamic weather indicator for the people of Hamburg.
