Originating as a digital design, The Crying Strength (Destroyed) was developed as a prototype into a 5-meter tall sculpture in a former farmhouse hall in southern Germany. Created using basic 3D printing techniques, the sculpture consisted of different 3D-printed segments that were intended to be later covered in fiberglass. Although the sculpture has since been destroyed, what remains are digital traces and photos of its conception.
